Making Every Contact Count: having effective brief conversations on the frontline

North East London Training Hub are pleased to release new dates on this CPD Certification standards accredited training supporting staff implement MECC approach in Primary Care. These half day interactive course are aimed at frontline non clinical staff to enable effective brief conversations with patients to effectively signpost them to relevant local support services. These include reception desk, care coordinators, health and wellbeing coaches and social prescribers

How is the course delivered?
A 4 hour virtual workshop with interactive quizzes, practice activities and discussions

Desired learning outcomes

• Improved understanding of what MECC is, including its impact
• Refresh key healthy living messages and sources of information
• Refresh and strengthen communication skills for having effective brief conversations
• Improved understanding of good signposting
